May 2008: Free to nice, loving home, large, male, tabby cat (pictured above), black/tan with beautiful markings, approximately 5-6 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped. His person writes,"He's a very affectionate, loving cat. He's very laid back and easy going. He prefers to be the only cat in the house. I don't believe he gets along well with dogs. He likes to be indoors until it gets cooler in the evening, he likes to sit on the porch until bedtime. He usually wants to be where you are and loves to curl up on your lap and bury his head into your hand. He loves to be brushed and will let you trim his nails. He has been good around my two year old niece as long as she wasn't rough with him. I believe that someone that is at home most of the day who can give him more attention would be good for him. He likes that "human company" piece. He loves to talk one he's comfortable with his surroundings. Everything that is his will go with him... he just needs someone to be with him more than I can... Please call (509) 670-4110."
May 2008: Smokey (top photo) is an adult cat. He's a perfect gentleman. He's only got one eye, but he makes up for it with his grace and charm. He's good indoors, with other cats and he is neutered. His buddy, Saphire, (next photo) is a neutered, Siamese mix with gorgeous blue eyes. Both of these cats are ready to go to a new home. If you are interested in either of these cats, please send an e-mail to sosimplysimon@yahoo.com There are also many wonderful pets awaiting adoption at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. The animals shown in the "Pets in Need of Homes" section of our web site are available for adoption. For more information about any particular animal, you will need to contact the individual who is taking care of the animal. Contact information for each animal is included next to the animal's picture. AnimalHelp of Central Washington is not responsible for any part of the adoption process or actions or results arising out of that process. Our role is to provide free advertising for animals in need of homes in the community. All animals that we list on our web site must be spayed or neutered. If you have financial need and require assistance for a spay or neuter surgery for an animal, please click here.
