Paws Across the Northwest links shelters, rescue groups and individuals in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana for the purpose of improving communication and raising awareness for animals in need of adoption.

Dogs for the Deaf is a wonderful organization whose mission is to rescue and professionally train dogs to assist hearing impaired people and enhance their lives. Hearing dogs are chosen from shelters where they might otherwise be euthanized if no homes are found for them.
