AHCW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations to our group are tax-deductible. Our organization is operated entirely by volunteers and because we have no paid employees, all money that is donated to our group will go directly to projects or programs to benefit the animals.

Furry Fact: Did you know that a shelter is one of the best places to adopt a pet? Shelters have a wide variety of wonderful animals to choose from. Adopting from a shelter is less expensive than obtaining an animal from a pet store or breeder because the adoption fee typically includes spay or neuter, first shots and a health exam.
